This month we celebrated LOVE with two very cute books and two Valentine’s Day crafts.
I love Valentine’s Day because it celebrates that most important characteristic among humankind…..LOVE.
We read a sweet book called My Love For You, by Susan L. Roth, which is a fun book about love, but also includes fun with counting animals.
We also read the famous children’s classic, Guess How Much I Love You, by Sam McBratney. Of course we sang some fun songs like “H-E-A-R-T” set to the tune of Bingo and learned a poem about how to shape your hands into a heart.
Our two special crafts of the month were all about Valentines. Our first craft, which you can see on our Flickr site, was an idea from Enchanted Learning. Our second craft, which you see here in the post is an idea from Family Fun. We enjoyed making these heart-y Valentines and spreading the love around!
